A for profit, sister company has been registered with the name “Sarala Healthcare Pvt. Ltd”.
Sarala Healthcare opened its first pair of pilot clinic and pilot pharmacy on 2nd February, 2009.
The clinic is primary/preventive care facility for the poor.
MBBS (Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery), MD doctors are treating the patients.
Visit fees Rs.10 (< $ 0.25), far below the neighborhood rate Whenever possible, the physician writes prescription of generic medicines.
During each visit preventive care advice is given Only absolutely required laboratory tests are requested
Mobile Health Clinic On average nearly 25 Mobile Health Care and approximately 10 Mobile Eye Clinics are conducted at different branches of Sarala Women Welfare Society. Furthermore Mobile Health Care service has been extended towards economically retarded classes of society through other social organisations/institutions with a weekly frequency.
